Purely Noted is a self-initiated fragrance oil collection built around single-note scents and the distinct character of each plant. The packaging system combines a consistent label and box structure with scent-specific color and botanical illustration, allowing each product to feel individual while remaining clearly part of the same collection.
Challenge
Create a scalable packaging system for a collection of single-note fragrance oils that feels botanical, minimal, and refined while giving each scent enough distinction to be identified individually without losing overall brand consistency.
Approach
Established a consistent label and box architecture across the collection, using typography and information hierarchy as fixed elements while color and botanical illustration change with each scent. The restrained layout keeps product information clear and gives the illustrations room to differentiate each variety without disrupting the overall system.
Result
The finished system creates a cohesive family of fragrance oils in which each scent is recognizable at a glance while the repeated packaging structure, typography, and visual hierarchy keep the collection unified across labels and boxes.
